As Companies Committed to Care, our Treads & Threads sponsors invest in the future of our community by supporting the mission of the region’s premier academic medical center. Through their donations, these forward-thinking organizations help expand and enhance care for cancer patients, bringing more lifesaving options to the people of Kansas City and the region.
Beneficiaries of 2010 proceeds
In 2010, Treads & Threads proceeds will fund a patient navigator-type position. This individual will meet with new cancer patients to provide orientation and counseling about the wide range of patient support services we offer throughout their treatment and beyond.
Proceeds will also help purchase additional state-of-the-art cancer-fighting technology at the Richard and Annette Bloch Radiation Oncology Pavilion and continue upgrades to the facility to create a more soothing, healing environment for our patients.
